About Midnight Mile 2D

Midnight Mile 2D is a free browser endless runner made by Ease of Fortune Studios. No download. Survive the night course, unlock cosmetic runners, and post miles on a global board.

The game

Midnight Mile 2D runs in the browser as a single-player arcade platformer. You auto-run through a generated night city (and, after 100 miles, a space backdrop). Cryptic Eagles, gaps, stacked platforms, and moving ledges are the pressure. Gold and colored tokens are the pickups. The public score is miles survived.

We built it to be interruptible: start a mission, crash, Try Again. Weekly challenges rotate so there is a reason to come back besides a personal best. The Skin Shop is cosmetic on purpose — looks, not stats. How to Play is the official control sheet.

Ease of Fortune Studios

Ease of Fortune Studios operates midnightmile2d.com and the game. We do not publish a street address or phone number for this project. Support, Stripe billing questions, and partnership mail go to Contact (easeoffortunestudios@gmail.com).

Progress uses a locally generated identifier in your browser, not an account you sign up for. Stripe handles card data when someone buys a coin pack. We do not store full card numbers. Privacy and Terms live in the footer.

Browser-first

The game requires JavaScript and HTML5. Desktop uses keyboard. Phones and tablets use tap and swipe. There is no native install in this project. If the site loads, you can play — including on a short break.

Google ads, when they run, sit on these documentation pages — not inside the Play client. Play uses a separate game banner. Optional coin packs are optional.

What we ship

We ship the game in the browser and the documentation beside it: How to Play, a beginner guide, mechanics, the Skin Shop roster, an FAQ, and this page. Career XP and Next Level sit in the Play menu. Weekly jobs rotate on the homepage and in Challenges. The public board is miles, not a social network.

The development log records what shipped: weekly challenges, boss eagles, verified runs for the board, and friend-code gifting. Each post describes the feature as it exists in the current build.

The work from here is simple: keep the course fair, keep cosmetics cosmetic, keep the board tied to runs that actually started in Play, and keep a weekly reason to run. Player mail on Contact is read. If a purchase is missing, include player name and time of day.

Run a mile

Midnight Mile 2D is free in the browser. Updates lists what actually shipped.
